Cancer Clinical Trials

Since 1999, the Cancer Clinical Trials Office (CCTO) at Beaumont Hospitals has offered personalized service to those seeking care through clinical trials. The research that you participate in today leads to tomorrow's medical treatments and disease prevention strategies, which advances evidence-based healthcare. In coordination with Beaumont doctors, our knowledgeable staff is committed to meeting the highest standard of excellence in conducting clinical research and supporting quality patient care.

In 2001, Beaumont was designated as a Community Clinical Oncology Program (CCOP) by the National Cancer Institute (NCI). The CCOP network was created by the NCI in 1983 to serve local communities with state-of-the art cancer prevention and treatment clinical trials. For eight years, Beaumont maintained this national designation and continues at the forefront of cancer research.

As one of only fifty CCOP designated research centers from across the U.S., we offer studies from nationally recognized cooperative groups and research bases, including:

In addition to cooperative group trials, we offer pharmaceutical, commercial, and investigator-initiated studies. Patients are participating in over 165 clinical trials.
