Four of Beaumont Hospitals' seven CT scanners were upgraded to multi-slice CT scanners. Four MRI units continue to operate to meet an ever-increasing demand.
Diagnostic Radiology also performs a large number of CT scans, ultrasound, and fluoroscopic-guided interventions, including: biopsies and drainages aimed at diagnosis and management of oncology patients. Some of the latest techniques, including venous ablation and advanced stent replacements, are performed.
